Thank you God for another Birthday!! 💛🙉😍😝
A profound quote I once heard said, “There are two great days in a persons life. The day they were born and the day they discover why.”
I’m so grateful that this past year has given me so much clarity on what God’s assignment for me is. I am so thankful for all the closed doors, rejection, betrayals, lessons, tears, pain — because I know HE not only saw it but was in control of it and I chose to come out of everything with more wisdom, tenacity, strength and knowledge.
I learned that nothing just happens. God didn’t fall asleep on the job and let the enemy take over and wreck the car...He never sleeps and he never slumbers. He’s in complete control. He didn’t miss what’s happening to you or who hurt you or walked out on you. He knows about your health, your kids, your finances and your relationships.
I learned the enemy will come in and try to take over your mind to tell you otherwise which is why we have to constantly renew it. How do we we renew our mind? We bathe, consume and fill our mind with the word of God every day. That’s how you win.
I learned you have to worship even when you don’t feel like it. The word of God is full of love and we eventually become what we are putting our attention and focus towards. So, if you read his word and worship you will become filled with the love that you’re looking for.
I learned that when people leave your life it’s not so much them walking away but God removing them.
I learned the enemy will send distractions to get you off course and usually in the areas you are most vulnerable in.
I learned you have to know who you are in Christ and be completely whole before dating otherwise you will seek the wrong things and even settle for less than your worth.
I learned that all real validation and love comes from him and not others.
I learned that a pathway to healing and growing is to change what you’re saying about yourself and what the enemy is filling your mind with and to instead seek what God says about you. I pray you read to the end and that one of the lessons impacts you in some way. 🙏🏼😍🤗💛
2 Corinthians 10:5
>>Do you go out of your way not to outshine others? If so, read this.<<
I have a couple clients right now who are *THIS CLOSE* to achieving game-changing wins in their businesses.
They're in completely different industries with different business models, yet they're both struggling with the same challenge.
Even though they can practically taste the success that comes with smashing a long-held goal, a part of them doesn't want the success at all.
"What?" I hear you say.
Yep, you read that right.
You see, it's not that they're held back by a fear of failure, but a fear of outshining others.
Have you ever felt that way?
I know I have.
If you've been interested in personal development for any period of time, it's likely you've encountered Marianne Williamson's famous quote about being powerful beyond measure.
But have you read it in its entirety?
Go ahead, give it a read. It's a great reminder to us all. ♥️
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
